EyeTV/HD PVR Problems..

I just got an HD PVR to record my xbox, it is hooked up correctly and it records but it records way too bright (not the brightness of my tv) just the recording. I use EyeTV 3.5 to record the gameplay to my Mac. Here is an example of what the video quality is like. Any help appreciated
