Trying to help my brother hook up to the free wi-fi where he lives. Has a Quicksilver G3 and was wondering what I need to get to make the connection. No hardware in the computer for this type of connection. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you're talking about a Quicksilver G4 tower, it uses standard PCI slots. wireless cards are cheap these days. Examples:
Sabrent PCI-G802 PCI Wireless Card - 54Mbps, 802.11g, Windows/Mac/Linux Compatible at TigerDirect.com
Edimax EW-7128Gn PCI Wireless Adapter for PC and Mac
