I recently bought an external monitor for my mac book pro. I have it all hooked up correctly and the mac wallpaper shows up on the screen. Here's the catch: I bought the monitor because my mac's screen is no longer operational. How do I change the display settings to "mirror" if I can not see my mac's screen to change it?

Best way is going to be using clamshell mode - link.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
