Target Disk Mode Equivalent On PC Keyboard?

Have an IMAC but am using a PC keyboard. Have to soon transfer a few things with another machine. Is there an equivalent key on a PC keyboard for the Target Disk Mode key on a MAC keyboard? Thanks in advance.

??? I don't have a 'target disk mode' key on my Mac and have never seen one on any Mac.

If you're talking about pressing and holding the "T" key when you start the machine up, all the PC keyboards I own have one of those.

Perhaps give a read through this - link.

(And btw, it's iMac and Mac)

Thanks for the link. However, this keyboard does not have a dedicated key that will work for this operation. Am picking up an Apple keyboard tomorrow though so problem will be solved. Thanks again for the help, love this forum.

Odds are the issue isn't a missing key, but missing firmware in the Windows keyboard. Mac keyboards are programmed to respond to startup key commands, unlike their Windows counterparts. Unless it's changed recently, only Mac keyboards are supported for startup key combinations.
