    Specs:
8 core Mac Pro, 21.5" iMac, 13" Macbook Pro, iPhone 4
Looking for a 24" display as good as the 27" iMacs?
The two monitors I have on my mac pro are poor. I'm looking for a couple of 24" monitors with a display as good as the 21" & 27" iMacs... But without having to pay Apple's massive price for their display.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance
    Steve

you are looking for an LED backlit IPS monitor - 1920 x 1080.

BenQ are good, apparently Acer are good aswell.

Thx for the replies. Yes I'd like a backlit LED at 1920 x1080 preferably with a glass screen like the iMac. I also have a 21.5" and the screen looks superb. Most of the work I do tough is on the Mac Pro and my two monitors are awful :-(

    Why BENQ in particular?

probably just all round quality and customer support.

Also check out samsung displays. not sure if they do any IPS ones though.

    Steer clear of LG.

Here is Wikipedia's take on it. IPS panel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In short, better colour reproduction and better viewing angles.

    Downside? Price.
