My new Magic Mouse cover is always falling off and the connection is always being lost. I guess I should turn of on/off button to off so the batteries last longer. My Apple Logo is already worn off. Should I use a special surface to help the Magic Mouse last longer? I am using it on wood and can't understand why the Apple Logo is already half gone.

They are a bit finnicky making sure the cover is on tight by engaging the lip and then locking down. If you man the logo transfer underneath, maybe fliders would assist you. Just do a Google.
http://www.fliders.com/ Never turn mine off as it sleeps and batteries last about three months, last replaced 27 March. Suggest using Energizer Lithium as they seem to perform much better than say Durocell and certainly re-chargables. Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
