I am looking to set up a NAT drive that works directly with Apple TV (2nd Gen Black) and Mac OSX, more so RipIT software by The Little App Factory. I am having a hard time justifying spending $500+ on the 2TB Time Capsule and have read horrible things about them (even on the Apple store reviews people say they overheat and break within a year or 2). Does anyone have good alternatives? I have 400+ DVD's I want to back up onto a networked drive so I can call up any movie in my collection straight from my Apple TV.

Thanks for any help in advance.
