Hi!

I have MBP 15" released summer 2009 and have a few questions regarding connecting a monitor:

1. Which adapter do I have to get - Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter ($29) OR Apple Mini-DVI to DVI adapter ($19)?

2. If I connect the monitor, speakers, wireless keyboard and mouse - will I be able to make my external monitor the primary one and close my laptop and still be able to work? I mean, it won't go into sleep?

3. If the above is possible, will I be able to shutdown the laptop without having to open my laptop?

Thanks!

Head for post #4 in the following thread to help in identifying the port on your Mac.
