I recently asked for this specific webcam as a gift so I could skype with my dear old ma.

It works fine with QT, Youtube, Facebook etc... but not Skype...

I'm guessing the resolution is unmatched as it gives a highly distorted image.

I am on a G5 powermac dual 2.3ghz (mkii) and OS 10.4.11

any advice would be greatly appreciated.
QUOTE Thanks
