    Printer not speaking to MAC
My Epson Photo R300 printer has stopped communicating with my Mac. The usb cable is connected and I have downloaded and installed the latest driver. I have tried everything I can think of and need some help please.

And what appears under Print and Fa in Systems Preferences? Is the printer appearing in the Printers column? if not hit the little '+' button. Installing new software may have de-selected the printer.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
