Hello!

I have an iBook G3 Clamshell, (The newer indigo model with Mac OS 9) and I've been having some problems.
When I turn it on, it chimes and the screen is gray, as usual, but the happy Mac does not come up. It just stays gray forever. I have no idea what to do. If there's any one that has a tip or some way to help, that would be awesome!

Could be a dead hard drive with a computer this old. Try booting the computer from an OS install disk. If you don't have one...then get one!

The dead hard drive theory does sound likely, especially if it's the original drive from 10+ years ago. Look around for an OS 9 install disk.
