Motherboards
Hi there! So I'm trying to build myself an Ubuntu/Linux computer. I'm using an older pre-built computer and replacing/expanding some of the components. The current motherboard is dead and I need to replace it obviously. I want to know if I need to find the exact same motherboard or if I can find a newer one and install that. The current board is a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP with a Pentium 4 processor. I am willing to replace the processor and everything else in the computer if it means I can use a newer processor. Any info would be great! Thanks all!
P.S. this is my first (re)build of a computer so any tips to would be great! Thanks again!Move the crowd,
