Hello,

Can anyone recommend an external Blu-Ray burner that will work comfortably with Snow Leopard running on the latest 24" iMac?
Thanks...BC

Snow Leopard has no built in disc burning utility that you can utilise a BR burner with. You would need to have Roxio Toast Titanium to be able to use one, then you can use any BR burner, as they don't require drivers, just suitable software for burning.

They are not solely for Windows I can assure you. But anyway, you want an external BR writer, yes? You will still need software to burn with, and Toast is all you have the choice of.

Anyway:

External Blu-ray Burners via USB 2.0 for PC and Mac by DIGISTOR

FastMac | Product - Blu-ray Drive Upgrade for your Mac

Newegg.com - LACIE 12X BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X DVD+R 5X DVD-RAM 8X BD-ROM FireWire and USB 2.0 External Blu-ray Burner Blu-ray Burner 301906U

There's a few links, and the bottom one says Leopard 10.5 or higher in the specs. As I say, it won't work unless you have Toast though.
