Screen resolution keeps changing when I connect to a SmartBoard/projector/etc.

Member Since: Sep 11, 2008 Posts: 1	12-14-2010, 05:23 PM I work in a school with dozens of SmartBoards and every time I connect my MacBook to one of them my screen resolution automatically changes to 800x600 (from it's usual 1280x800). Once I plug in my adapter (mini-display port to VGA) my mac's screen resolution changes, all of my open windows become either extremely large or small, and everything on my screen gets a bit fuzzy (even after I readjust my screen resolution). Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
