Trying to pair this phone up with my imac on bluetooth but it won,t except it anyone know why this is

If it's anything like my blackberry, then you have to go into the phone's preferences and set it to discoverable, and then go to the mac bluetooth setting and turn on the discover option.

After the initial bluetooth setup for the phone, then it should appear in finder.
