I am new to mac. I have a 2010 mac pro, 2.8quad.

I have this issue if I use a apple wireless keyboard, apple wired keyboard, magic mouse, logitech mouse.

My main use of the computer is to run Steinberg's cubase 5. This is where I really notice the slooow performance of the keyboard:

If I hit keys on the keyboard while in cubase, the response time is seconds. But if I move the mouse slightly after hitting the keys, the response is what I think of as normal.

Help, any ideas why I need to move the mouse to get normal keyboard input?

I don't think I installed any third party mouse software for the logitech, but if you can direct me where to check I can.

Jon
