Is this really Apple?

Hi,

I just bought a A1243 keyboard from Hong Kong.

I am wondering is there anyway to verify if this is a genuine Apple product?

Any help would be much appriciated.

You could try going to the:

- Apple menu
- choosing "About This Mac
- click on the "More Info" button
- under the "hardware" list click on "USB"

...see what this reports. I happen to be using a wireless Microsoft keyboard...and using the procedure I mentioned...it lists my keyboard as "Microsoft Wireless Desktop Receiver".

And the Apple 1243 keyboard should look like this (as you probably know):
