Ok, what I'm looking to do is assign the right click on my "Magic Mouse" to work as the "Middle" or "3rd" button. It might seem like a strange request, but I'm beginning to learn Maya, which requires easy movement of the camera.

The way it is supposed to go is:
1st button rotates, 2nd button zooms in/out, and 3rd pans.

With the magic mouse, zooming in is easily achieved by moving your finger forward. This makes the normal 2nd button action obsolete. Since there is no 3rd button on the mouse, I wanted to see if there is anyway, script or otherwise, of making the right click register as a middle mouse.

Oh yea, the obvious answer would be to reassign the actions in the program, but there is nothing in the preferences that I've found.

QUOTE Thanks
