I just bought a Canon Pixma Ip3000. It came with the ink installed in it and I free pack of photo paper. I plugged my digital camera in it and printed a 4x6 picture and it turned out terribly. Their were ink dots and faded spots. What happened?

The printers great. I think it just messed up because I plugged the camera into the printer instead of printing from my computer. Its worth it, fast, quiet.

Yep, it has a slot to put 4.6 paper in the bottom cartridge as well as regular 8x11 paper.
