If I get an external blu ray drive like this one, will there be any issues playing blu ray movies on a 27" imac?

Thanks!

Only that there exists not a single player that will play commercial B-R discs in OS X that I'm aware of.

Should work just fine booting to Windows with the appropriate software installed.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

Do you know why it is that OS X won't play blu ray discs? Is this going to be something we can look forward to in the future?

Guess it will have to be run from a Windows partition. THanks

Only because Apple has so far refused to put B-R players in their machines, which in turn leads to a lack of developers willing to spend the time on such an app. Another reason my HTPC is a homebuilt rig running Win7 and not a Mac.
