    Best Mac Keyboard?
I've been using the standard Apple Wireless keyboard for about the last year and a half or so with my 24" iMac. It has served me well over the usage period but my dog decided it was a chew toy about two days ago and it now lays in a trash bin. I have been looking around and decided against purchasing another Apple brand keyboard. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a keyboard (preferably under $150.00)?

    Thanks a bunch!

You don't need to stick with Apple - in case you were wondering. PC k/b's work wonderfully well with MacOS. Therefore, the world is your oyster in terms of choice. M'soft units get good feedback from Mac users, also Logitech.
Me? I use wired units, so can't personally recommend anything. Have used a Genius w/less k/b, worked well enough.

If i were to use a PC keyboard would the Windows button be my Command button?

Yes. I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard & mouse (which on the package it says both Windows & Macintosh compatible)...and the "Windows" button does act like the "Command" button on a Macintosh.

    Hope this helps,

Exactly. There are some slight adjustments to be made, eg. Alt = Option.
I bought a cheap generic keyboard about three years ago, made in China, no brand name on it, but SysProfiler tells me it's Chicony. Still going strong, some letters are fading. It has volume, brightness etc controls on it. Cost - US$7.

I have to admit I do get confused sometimes (since I use a number of different computers) looking down at this Microsoft keyboard and seeing those Windows/Microsoft "keys" instead of the familiar "Macintosh" symbols on the keys.

I hope you are not against the Apple Keyboard just because your dog was able to destroy it. I have seen animals destroy every brand of keyboard at one time in my computer history.

With that said, that Logitech you are looking at is very nice.
