UK and Euro plug adapters

Hi,
I am looking for one of each UK and Euro plug adapters as I am moving to London in a couple of weeks. I know that Apple sells the world traveler kit however for $40 it seems a bit pricy for the plug adapter.

Did anyone have any luck with less expensive adapters on the net, like those found on eBay for $3-4?

Thanks!

I used one of these for travel - much less to carry and covers most places;

Lived in Germany for 4 years and used the cheap plastic converters with no problems.

Do you recommend any retailers for these?

Thanks!

You can pick them up at most Radio Shacks.... You also need to make sure that the power supply that you are plugging can actually handle 220 (or whatever voltage that the country that you are going to).

I have found that the ones that are a few dollars more tend to have better connecters to support the weight of the adapter but that should be no problem with the RS ones.
