Lacie 1T network drive not showing URGENT!!!!!

I've got a Lacie network drive (the Neil Poulton one)
It has been working just fine till now, its not showing up anymore, i tried disk utilities and the lacie software, but nothing!!!
It seems to be spinning and the light is on.
So I'm wondering would i be best of to open it up and get the drive out and buy one of those USB harddrive cradles and see if i can get my data of the drive that way ?

its urgent!!!

Did you try all the standard stuff like reboot, a different USB port, a different USB cable? Unfortunately, the Mac not seeing the HD makes me think the HD might have failed.
