I was wondering what you guys think of this.

In the HP c309a manual, it says 'use the telephone cord supplied with your HP printer, as it is different than usual phone cords and the fax may not function properly without it' or something like that.

The issue is my fax machine is on built in furniture, and to change the phone cord would be next to impossible.

When it gets a little later, I may find a friend with a fax machine and test it, but for now, what do you think? How could it be different?
QUOTE Thanks
