Using Apple's Bluetooth Keyboard

Mac Specs: iMac G5 17", 1.8 Ghz, 1GB RAM

Well I was wondering, Apple's site said that their Bluetooth keyboard requires the "qualified D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter". Does it need to be that or can I use the Targus Bluetooth adapter I bought? Thanks! :biohazard
