Is it possible to import my contacts from my Blackberry to my Mac Book Pro contacts? If so, how can it be done? Im a Mac newbie!

Let's get it to the right place. I've just moved it to "Other Hardware and Peripherals".

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

That article is 2.5 yrs old. Just go to BlackBerry's website and download the new Desktop Manger for Mac. It will allow you sync contacts, calendar, music, etc. Simple to use. I use it for my BB Pearl 8130.
