I have installed Share Points on my Mac G4 and when I boot in OSX (Tiger) I can share my external HD on the home network with PC (XP) and laptop (Vista). But sometimes I need to boot the Mac in OS9 to use an older scanner for my slides (no OSX driver available). When I am in OS9 the Mac and the external HD disappear from my network. Is there a way I can use Share Points with OS9?

OS 9 does not need share points, you should be able to get OS9 to do that itself.
