hey, i've got a bamboo and it seems great, i haven't tried anything else out really but my wacom does the job (Y) its pressure sensitive and all that nonsense...
i don't know anything about the mte450 but i'd say the bamboo would be a safe purchase

Hope this helps

My daughter of 12 is an aspiring artist. The things she draws and paints are wonderful (as a dad I can say this but she's been published!). Drawing on her iMac with a mouse was hard so I bought her the Bamboo. Installed it in 5 minutes and she started using it like she had used one for years. It was so natural for her and now she does a lot of digital artwork in PS CS3 (getting her Illustrator for Christmas). Another added feature is that I got her Bluetooth Mighty Mouse to use with my MacBook Pro when at my desk!
QUOTE Thanks
