Canon i960 printer problems with iMac

Have downloaded latest driver (Mac version) from Canon but the printer prints colors completely off and I can't find any info on how to adjust that in the Canon utility. Any ideas? The printer was working fine when it was hooked up with a PC. If all else fails & I wind up having to buy a new printer. Any suggestions on one that IS compatible with Mac? I just prefer a plain printer without all the fax & copier stuff attached.

Any time a printer prints giberish or off colors its the driver. Try an older version of the driver. There should be a utility to aline the print head.
