Video Camera Suggestions??

Hi All,
I'm currently working on a project for my school (I'm an educator on Long Island, NY) creating video to submit and be played on Public Access TV. I'm looking to purchase a video camera that meets the criteria below.

- Must be a non-proprietary format
- Must create DVD quality .rm or .wmv files
- compatible with both Mac and PC platforms

If you have any suggestions, please help me out.

If you're a member of Consumer Reports, they have an excellent review of all the latest video cameras. Most video cameras are compatible with both the PC and Mac so you should have a wide choice depending on how much you intend to spend.
