my wired mighty mouse started acting funny last night. it will scroll up pages but not down. i tried cleaning it by rolling it on a sheet of paper and no luck. anyone have any ideas?

Sell it, and get a good mouse.

Apple came out with a new mouse, the Magic Mouse.
Apple Magic Mouse - Apple Store (U.S.)

If your Mighty Mouse has a warranty, bring it in to Apple.

If you really want to, I found a website that may help you fix the problem. Not guaranteed, but may work.

I've seen the new magic mouse but I'm not sure I like it. It appears to not be low profile and uncomfortable. I'm fine with a mighty mouse just as long as it works.

I called the apple store and they said it's under warranty so I'll probably just swap it out.
