USB sound card for macbook

Member Since: Jul 15, 2009 Posts: 4	10-06-2009, 09:47 AM My Macbook's sound card has been damaged after a piece of the headphone jack got stuck inside. I've been told its unfixable or will cost the same as a new machine to fix. I want to buy a usb sound card to see if it will fix the problem but not sure if it will work. Has anyone tried this successfully before on a MacBook, and if so which sound card did you use?
