 It has that many pins but my connector looks like this.  If I could please have an answer to wether or not I should buy it. Thanks |

The main thing you're looking for with DVI cables/adpters are whether it has the four pins surrounding the slot. Without them, you have a DVD-D connector. That particular adapter will work with DVI-D dual link as well as your DVI-D single link cable. I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
