MacBook Pro - Can i connect the wireless mouse with the laptop without a receiver

i m planning to go for a Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for my macbook pro,where the Package Contains
Logitech® V220 Cordless Optical Mouse and a Mini-receiver


Is thr any way to connect this mice directly to the laptop(with wifi or bluetooth inbuilt in my macbook pro) without using usb signal receiver,i dont wanna sacrifice my usb port for a mice.

I am using Macbook pro with Snow Leopard 10.6

if you want a mouse that does not require a USB dongle, you need to be looking for a Bluetooth mouse.

You can use another brand of Bluetooth mouse, it doesn't have to be a Mighty Mouse.
