I recently purchased a Time Capsule in order to back up the data on my MBP. When I went to set it up today, I found that while I have the instruction manuals, the cord, and the Time Capsule itself in the box, I don't seem to have the disc for installation. I'm unsure if this disc was somehow missing from the box, or if it got lost in the shuffle from my home to university this past weekend. Does anyone know if Apple provides the necessary installation software online (sort of like downloading printer drivers online?), or how I can obtain a replacement disc? Thanks in advance for any help!

Disc for installation? What do you have to install? Couldn't you just use Time Machine?

Sorry if I'm wrong, I don't use a Time Capsule. I have a GreenDrive.

Don't need a disk.

The router portion of the TC is set up by Airport Utility located in the Applications / Utilties folder.

Time Machine is setup by the Time Machine app on your Mac.

I got a time capulse CD with mine that updates the Airport utility software.

You can give this a try Apple - Downloads - Application Updates - AirPort Utility 5.4.2 for Mac
It will hopefully find your time capsule.

Yep, my bad. Don't think Airport Utility is installed as part of the OS.

But, drummerkid's link should do it for you.
