Caps lock modification on apple keyboard

Does anyone know if there is a workaround to this modification that comes with the aluminium slim keyboard that makes the caps lock key have to be held down slightly longer in order to activate the function?

Anyone know if there is a fix to this somewhere?

Please let me know.

After searching around i found this update from apple called "aluminium keyboard update" Apple - Downloads - Firmware & Hardware - Aluminum Keyboard Update and it looks like it should fix the delay problem, anyone tried this update and can confirm that it fixes the caps lock issue?
