Hello everyone,
Just got myself a brand spanky new Macbook pro unibody. Man the things amazing. In addition I also brought the mini port to hdmi so I can connect it to my 40" Samsung tv. In addition I have a 3.5 -> rca connected to the headphone to get audio. Problem is no audio. I have no clue why. Anyone else does? John |

Your Samsung TV is more than likely expecting the sound (along with the video) from the HDMI cable connector not the RCA from the MBP audio output.
Connect your MBP to the TV using a mini display port adapter to DVI and then into your Samsung. Audio out from the MBP via the RCA connectors should then work OK. Regards. |
