Backed up onto WD Mybook external HD - now want to retrieve info

I have backup up my OSX Leopard running macbook using time machine onto a WD My book external HD.
Then this past weekend my macbook was stolen from my house through a window.
Now I only have a PC running XP home available. can I access my work files on the external HD when its not formatted for PC?
Is there any way I can get to those files without a Mac?
I really hope you can help me. thanks!

No more barriers between Windows and Mac®
currently on sale for $30 - was designed for OS X to give read and write access to NTFS volumes, but now includes MacBrowser which allows you to read and write to HFS volumes from windows.
edit: What I don't know, is if there is a way to open the sparsebundle pkg that TM creates from within Windows. I have never tried that and don't currently have a Win machine to try it on. Might want to wait to purchase it for other feedback.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
