I bought this camera for my old laptop (PC) a while ago, and as my luck has it, it's not compatible with macintosh. Is there anything I can use to force it to be compatible with my MacBook Pro?

Check out Macam I've successfully gotten my incompatible Logitech web cam working with OS X. Unfortunately it still doesn't work with photo boot but works just fine in Skype and Yahoo Messenger.
