Quick question about Canon printer.
New to Mac & setup my Canon i950 without a glitch but I cannot find anything in the software to check ink levels like I could with Windows XP. While printing it did warn me once that black level was low but no graph, just a warning. I'd like to check the levels before doing some serious printing!:)
If anyone has any experience with the i950 or similar Canon printers please let me know.

Your printer may need to warm up / print a page first.

I found this on the Apple forums:
Apple - Support - Discussions - cannot see ink jet cartridge levels ...

Also, did you try Cannon's driver? (select your OS to see the driver / software downloads)

Yup, found it. I don't know my way around a Mac yet. It's a little work getting to Utilities. Then, Maintenance defaults to Cleaning, but, there's a drop down list that takes you to levels.

Sure thing.

We have to check out iChat some time so I can show you around your Mac from 600 miles away :)
