I have a broken screen from pre-unibody MacBook Pro. I was able to remove iSight from it, and I believe with a bit of soldering I could connect it as an external one to any mac, as this guy did with the MacBook version:

My New Triple Boot Development Machine!! at one.falling.hope

Alas, MacBook Pro iSight is quite different, it's got sort of 5 cables coming out of it: 2 white, 2 red (which as far as I can see are actually joined together), 1 yellow (which as far as I can see contains two separate wires). All cables are shielded and the shield seems to be common ground.

I have no idea what should my next step be, how likely it is to damage the iSight or USB port if I try connecting randomly... Any suggestions will be much appreciated, please.
QUOTE Thanks
