Upgrade ram to what???

on macbook pro 13 inch model. im thinking 4 gb, but is it really necesarry to go to like 8 gb?
i mean just HOW much faster can that be.?
and does anyone recomend a specific brand?

Mac Specs: MBP 2.3 Ghz 4GB RAM 860 GB SSD, iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 32GB RAM, Fusion Drive 1TB

CrimsonRequiem is offline
4GB of RAM is more than enough. 8GB of RAM cost ~ $600-1k USD. I high doubt anyone needs more than 4GB of RAM for the every day things like surfing the net, listen to music, watching videos, and word processing.

Kingston, Crucial and Corsair are my top three for RAM.

ok so no need for the 8gig. thats a relief,
and which of the 3 would u recomend better?
