Hi,

I'm looking for a device and software that will allow me to play normal terrestrial TV on my Macbook Pro. Are there any recommendations?
Thanks,

Nigel

Which TV tuner?

ElGato has been making TV tuners for the Mac longer than anyone else and will be the most recommended.

(But then again I'm also biased – work there!)

But if you have an iPhone, our stuff does blow theirs out of the water at the moment – we have free apps on the AppStore, they have a web interface )

Do you know off hand if it works with Verizon FIOS? Elgato has issues with FIOS which still have not been resolved in their latest version.

Regards.
