I've done a heap of research on the topic, but can't decide which to get. I hear a lot of good things about the Elgato EyeTV hybrid, but I have a Macbook Pro and thought the Miglia TVBook pro looked real good, especially with the little bit that bends around to plug into the usb for additional power to the built in 'antenna'.

Anybody have the miglia? I've not found anybody who's reviewed it, and there hasn't been a new model out from miglia in a couple of years - whereas Elgato has a '2009' model of the eyetv hybrid out with an FM radio (who cares).

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I saw the pinnacle ones, but they just look cheap and ******.

Ideally i'm after a USB or express (for macbook pro) device, that will NOT require an external antenna (as i want portability), has a remote, and is generally kickass.

Cheers in advance...

Josh

All I can tell you is that the Elgato EyeTV series has had good reviews from users in this forum and other Mac hardware forums.

The only reservation I would mention about the Elgato is if your provider is Verizon FIOS. The Elgato has some issues which are ongoing with respect to FIOS, otherwise it's probably the one to get.

Regards.
