Any Feedback on the Apple In-Ear Headphones ($39)??

Hey,

I wanted to buy my girlfriend a new set of headphones for her iPOD. I was looking at either the Sony EX71, or the Apple In-Ear Headphones (I believe they retail for $39). From what I've read on the internet, the Apple In-Ear Headphone's got a better rating. But I would like to hear back from some real end-users.

What's your inpression of these headphones?

Regards,

VJ

I have them and I don't like them. They don't fit well and the sound isn't much better than the included headphones. I think the Sony ones would be a better choice.

I will personally guarantee that your girlfriend will love the EX-71s.

Buy them and if she doesn't like them, I'll buy them off you and throw in a bottle of wine for the two of you. :-)

Seriously, though, I know about a dozen people with the EX-71s and every single one of them loves them.

(And, no, I don't work for Sony. :-)

Thanks everyone for responding to my questions...

Well I broke down and purchased the "Shure E3c Sound Isolating In-Ear Stereo Earphones"....yikes

That burnt my wallet a little bit, but hopefully well worth it!

Oh well, that means I have a nice Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot blend I'll be enjoying tonight... :-)

Let us know how the Shure phones work out!

I actually purchased the Sony EX71's last night for myself

When I get them both, I'll do a comparison between the two. I'm not an expert, but do know when something is more cumbersome, and/or simply sounds better :p

Regards,

Vj
Since I don't favor either Sony or Shure, it should an unbiased comparison

I've got the Shure e3c's , she's should love them!

Although the Sony's are probably easier to get used to, the Shure's offer much more detail... Maybe give her the sonys and keep the shure's yourself...
