Why doesn't Printer work intermittently?

I have a Hewlett Packard photosmart 7350 that works mostly fine all the time. Then there are the time when it just doesn't print and after unplugging the back of the printer once or 10 times for a certain amount of time, it seems to start working again.
Or I recheck all the wires/connections, unplug it, replug it...until it works which it usually does. Right now I can't get it to work and it's not that important to keep trying - it's late, but all I wanted was to print 1 page and it shows that it's printing or processing when I click the icon, and the printer is on, etc. but it just seems to have a mind of its own.
Anyone else have this problem and do you know why? I've given up tonight. Hopefully it just needs a rest and will work again tomorrow.

Knowing HP, it's probably just a poorly made or buggy driver. Have you downloaded the latest from their website?Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
