I am running Tiger on an Intel MacBook.
I want to use my LaCie external usb hd to backup my computer using SuperDuper. The LaCie is not partitioned and already contains a lot of files I have to save.
Before I do a partition, here's my question:
Should I save all those files back to my computer, partition the hd and then copy them back to one of the partitions? Or is there a better way to do this?
Thanks for any help.

Without a 3rd drive, that is the only way to do it without purchasing what ends up being a single use application for most people. Here's one.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
