Hi,
I would like to buy a portable DVD writer for my MacBook Pro, can anyone recommend one? Just for you to understand, ideally I would love something like the MacBook Air Superdrive (only, it should work on any laptop....)
I have seen a similar thread in this forum, but this is a bit different as I need it portable.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Regards.

Antonio.

Do you need firewire? If not, you can use a 'bare' optical drive (cheap) connected to either a Mac or Win computer via a ATA-USB2 adaptor kit (also cheap). The only negatives of that are lugging the cables about - but a small carry bag would suffice - and having access to a power supply.
