02-23-2009, 07:53 PM #1to build or not to build? that's the question.
I'm on a budget.
I have a Western Digital WD1600 160 GB hard drive sitting around.
Would my eMac with OS X 10.5.6 recognize an external Firewire enclosure fitted with the above named WD drive?
In other words, can I build my own Time Capsule using the WD hard drive and a 3.5" external Firewire enclosure?
Thanks in advance,

I wouldn't see why not.Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
