8-in-1 150x USB Memory Card Reader - dealmac.com

It looks kinda cheesy, but the price is right!

i dont see why not, its a card reader.

word of advice though, if you are using a aluminum keyboard i suggest not getting this card reader, because there is a 99% chance it wont fit. Unless that is if you dont mind plugging it into the back of the computer.

Doesn't look like it accepts XD cards, but if you're using the other types mentioned in its specs, it should be okay. I'm always a tad suspicious of ultra cheap items - I just have to ask "why?". But then ... you gets what you pays for.

I took a look at Printers - Scanners - Toner - Monitors - Projectors & More at Super Warehouse and RadioShack.com - the nation's most experienced and trusted consumer electronics specialty retailers. when checking your previous item against what else is available. Kingston and Sandisk are reliable brand names. A multi-card (incl XD) reader in this country sells online for about US$12.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

Also, to Greyspot, I do have the aluminum keyboard that came with the iMac, but I'm a bit confused about your comment. Why would I plug a card reader into a keyboard (it doesn't have anywhere to plug in anything anyway)? I need a card reader to use for my new camera - lot's easier than messing with the usb cable. It's for an SDHC card.
